This is a portfolio of my professional work, focusing primarily on my web development and design work.
The work on this site underwent several iterations starting with a design from the owners. My role was to update the site to a new design using PHP with an extensive CSS rework to make it cleaner, more search engine-friendly and to allow for easier future updates.
This site was developed for Bonney Plumbingthrough Zango Creative. My role was to build out HTML and do graphic production work from Photoshop layout and design work provided by Michelle Drewien at Zango. Since this site was developed for SEO, the layout was entirely tableless and involved extensive use of CSS. In addition, this was my first foray into using jQuery to develop dynamic functionality including rotating logos and dynamic menu elements.
As one of several projects I did for the University of Washington department of Rehabilitation Medicine, I developed a site for the Multiple Sclerosis Rehabilitation Research and Training Center. I designed and developed the site to be entirely accessible using CSS and non-table layout. A large part of the development work was displaying an exported EndNote bibliography (in XML format) and allowing users to view and search an Access database-driven Knowledgebase.
