This is a portfolio of my professional work, focusing primarily on my web development and design work.

Noce Vita

The work on this site underwent several iterations starting with a design from the owners. My role was to update the site to a new design using PHP with an extensive CSS rework to make it cleaner, more search engine-friendly and to allow for easier future updates.

Bonney Plumbing

Bonney Plumbing Site

This site was developed for Bonney Plumbingthrough Zango Creative. My role was to build out HTML and do graphic production work from Photoshop layout and design work provided by Michelle Drewien at Zango. Since this site was developed for SEO, the layout was entirely tableless and involved extensive use of CSS. In addition, this was my first foray into using jQuery to develop dynamic functionality including rotating logos and dynamic menu elements.

MSRRTC Site for the UW

As one of several projects I did for the University of Washington department of Rehabilitation Medicine, I developed a site for the Multiple Sclerosis Rehabilitation Research and Training Center. I designed and developed the site to be entirely accessible using CSS and non-table layout. A large part of the development work was displaying an exported EndNote bibliography (in XML format) and allowing users to view and search an Access database-driven Knowledgebase.

Group Health Employer Site

GHC Employer Site

The team I work with redesigned and relaunched the Employer site for Group Health Cooperative recently. As part of that team, I converted content from a previous version of the site and worked closely with the editor on the team in developing Teamsite forms used in generating content in XML format. As one of two front-end developers, I developed JHTML pages and wrote inline Java code where needed along with standard page development tasks (CSS, Javascript, HTML templating).

Prospect 772 Order Form

Prospect 772 Form

This single page order form was developed for Prospect 772 through Zango Creative. My role was to take a single page order form to mail orders for Prospect’s wines with all layout and design work done by Michelle Drewien at Zango. In addition to writing the back-end validation and mailing code, I also wrote client-side Javascript that performs validation and dynamically calculates order totals and shipping.
